Beginner Glass Art – Blown Glass

This introductory class is designed to allow one adult student to “experience” glass art processes and be instructed in the safe handling of basic blown glass art equipment and materials. Protective equipment such as a leather apron, safety glasses, and gloves may be loaned as needed. An instructor is directly involved, hands-on and one-on-one with all aspects of manipulating equipment and materials guiding the student to safely create a blown glass object such as a drinking glass, ornament, pumpkin, or similar shapes. The student will pick up and take home the finished object after it has been annealed overnight. Shipping the finished object is available at additional costs related to the size, weight, and shipping options preferred.
Class length: 1 hour Price: $150.00
An additional $10 insurance fee is required for non-Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum members.
